Default Timelines and animated layers - 11-15-2004 , 06:24 PM

:frown;
On the Dell laptops in the computer classroom in which I teach, the Timeline
(TL) options in Dreamweaver MX 2004 are dimmed when the layer associated with
the TL is highlighted. It's necessary to click outside the layer to acess the
TL options and that, unfortunately, attaches the behavior to the page rather
than the layer. This does not occur on my own Thinkpad or my co-instructor's
Dell, but it did occur on a new Sony desktop that one of the students has at
home. Has anyone had this problem and can you propose a solution?

Why are you teaching timelines anyhow?

Could it be that you have the Sony in Layout Mode? (VIEW | Table Mode >
Layout Mode)

In my opinion, neither of those should be taught (timelines or Layout mode).
