Default timelines - 11-04-2004 , 05:49 PM

Hi Group,
I am trying to make a timeline effect of a pair of curtains opening.

I have my two layers covering the page.
I added each one individually to a timeline moved them up to 250 frames, set
them in the in and out positions, hit f12 to preview, worked a treat.

Uploaded the page (index) to the website and the page refused to open.

Removed the timelines and just uploaded the basic page, opened fine.

Re- added the timelines and hit f12 to preview, worked a treat,
again the page refused to open from the web.

Tried putting the different curtains on different timelines, no better.

Please can anyone advise what this problem might be?

Thanks in advance to all those that take the time to reply.

David

I can't remember how DW handles timelines but I would check that it has not
created the javascript as an external .js file which will also require
loading to the server for it to work

Hi Murray,
I have been tinkering, and now sometimes it works and somtimes it doesn't.
Starting to think it maybe a server problem???

Hi Murray

The link is fine, in fact when I checked your reply I clicked on the link to
check and it worked fine, but that's what is one of the things that's
happening, as well as the curtains sometimes opening at a speed far higher
than set.

If I take the timelines out the page works fine.
