Default Thank-you - 04-03-2009 , 09:07 AM

Just wanted to say thank-you to all who write on this forum. I've only
posted a few times in a few years now but have learned a lot from Murray
.. Al David etc. (and still have a way to go!) I really appreciate it.
Using a newsgroup like this I am able to check out a number of forums at
least once a day an d pick up so much from the questions others ask.
Anyway I hopeto catch up with some of you again elsewhere. Have a great
Easter.

Jan

I would like to echo this thanks to the regulars who are so helpful to those of
us still learning. Murray, Al, David have already been mentioned, but also
Micha, Dooza, Thierry, a couple of Nancy's come to mind. I know there are many
more. We have known about this coming for some time, but hoped that Adobe
would change their tune. Apparently not. I'm sure there will still be plenty of
activity on the forum, but sans the experience of the newsgroup readers. To
those of you who won't be here, thank you again for your help in my learning. I
hope we will cross paths again.

Mike

Hoozah, hoozah!! Amen to both Janice's and Mike's comments! I also would like
to express my gratitude to ALL who donate their time to making the web
development learning curve easier for the rest of us! Thank you so much!!

Cheers,
A.B.

I would also like to thank everyone for there time over the last 10
years. Without Murray, Al and David to name a few, I would not have the
knowledge to pass on.

Thank you everyone!

Dooza

I'll sign my name here, too.

I am still hoping that they add NNTP to the new forum (the application
does support it, supposedly). I know they've been spending most of
their time figuring out how to merge Web and NNTP posts from both
forums.macromedia.com and adobeforums.com. That can't be easy,
especially when you consider that many folks have been posting on both
servers.

I hear they are only keeping a year of posts at a time, so many of the
good posts will be gone.

Not only do I want to thank all who have contributed, I *do* thank
all those who have contributed. (Sorry, pet peeve... If you'd
like to thank someone or welcome them, just do it. Don't tell us
you'd "like to" and then not do it; it implies something completely
different. )

Let us see what the future brings before we regret the past.
