Hi Folks - My testing server is identical to my remote server. I have a question ... How does DW handle page testing of an existing page? Is it uploading the page with a temp name for testing purposes? Or? If someone could give me a brief overview of the process, that would be nice. Thanks. Michael |

Okay, I give .... I have been able to make a testing server connection. However, I don't think I understand the concept of a testing server. I have files at www.mydomain.com. When I view my remote files, I can double-click on a file and it will be transferred to my local site. I make changes to the file and I want to test them prior to loading to the production system. However, when I test the page, it FTPs the file to the production server and displays the page in the browser. That seems to contradict testing first. I would think that it would put them in a temp area for testing. Once I have confirmed the accuracy of the page, I can then put the file to the production server. What am I missing here? Do I need to specify a testing folder? Note: The testing server and production server are the same account. Thanks for any help.
