Default templates and the onLoad - 06-11-2004 , 05:21 AM

Hi yea,
I have a page created by my templated,
<!-- InstanceParam name="onload" type="text" value="P7_TMopen()" -->
</head>
<body bgcolor="#CCCC99" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0"
marginheight="0" onLoad="P7_TMopen()" >

I have made the onload event into an editable region, on all my pages i need
the P7_TMopen()" , when I need to add another onload event, where do i add
it to, I have to do it by hand, and am a little confused.

when I look at my template page it self, I have

<!-- TemplateParam name="onload" type="text" value="P7_TMopen()" -->
</head>
<body bgcolor="#CCCC99" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0"
marginheight="0" onLoad="@@(onload)@@" >

what I am trying to figure out is, do I after having created a new page with
my template just change the

<!-- InstanceParam name="onload" type="text" value="P7_TMopen()" -->
by adding on to the P7_TMopen()

huuum much regards

Once you've created a new page just select (from the top menu) MODIFY >
TEMPLATE PROPERTIES

It will then list all the template properties you've allowed including the
attribute for the body tag.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply,
just a quicky, lol on having created a page from the template, and then >>

TEMPLATE PROPERTIES , that will only modify the page and not the template
right? see when I seen that button there before I had believed that it was
for modifying the template and not the child created from the template.

It modifies the template properties on that child page. This is the right
way to do it.
