Default Template updates child in memory, not on disk - 09-16-2004 , 10:37 PM

The symptoms of this problem:

1. Make a change to a template.
2. Save the template, and update all children.
3. Child page (already open) seems to be properly updated in memory. Save the
child page.
4. Changes to the child page are not written to disk (e.g. open the html file
in another editor, and changes do not show up).
5. Make any trivial change to the child page, and save again. All of the
changes ARE now properly written to disk.

Why?

You'd better show me this one. It's just not possible! 8)

Murray, how would you suggest I "show" it to you? Would you like me to send you
files for examination?

I take it that no possible theories jump to mind, or suggestions for
diagnosing this problem.

Cheers.

Like I said - it's not possible. 8) It's not a lack of theories, it's a
lack of credibility! 8)

But I'll take a look at the code anyhow.

Give me a URI for a child page, and tell me what you changed in the template
that did not get reflected, please.
