I am updating a website I designed some time ago. In the template, I used the Dreamweaver menu generator tool to make sub-menus for the navigation. The updates I'm doing caused me to need to change the menus, so I did that. When I finished modifying the template, I said "yes" to updating all related pages, and synchronized the site. Here's the weird part: On some of the pages that use the template, I can see that the code has changed to reflect the menu updates. But, the page is not displaying the new menu. On other pages, the update did not occur. What could be going on? -- -Kelly kelly at farringtons dot net "Wake up, and smell the cat food" -TMBG |

It's hard to say. What happens when you recreate the site cache, open one of those pages, and use MODIFY | Templates > Update Current page.... |
|
Also, which menu generator did you use? |

I really don't understand why the code on same pages is updated, but others aren't, and none of the pages run using the modified template. Also, which menu generator did you use? OK, I'm feeling really brain dead. It's been a while since I've done any web work. I used the pop-up menu tool in Dreamweaver, but now I can't find how you get to it. It's the one that just asks you to fill in the text, and you pick the background and text colors. -- -Kelly kelly at farringtons dot net "Wake up, and smell the cat food" -TMBG |
