Template Title Change

I'm new to template making in dreamweaver. I've created my template but I'm
unable to make the Title tag and probably others too editable in my pages that
I create the template from.

Please suggestions?

If you have child pages in which the title tag is not editable then your
template creation process is flawed, since DMX2004 normally places editable
regions around the title tag in the process.

The correct way to create a template would be to create your basic page,
make sure that your navigation elements, and page boilerplate elements are
all in place, and save as a template. Then define your editable regions and
save again. Finally spawn child pages from the template and add your unique
content.

To fix your title tag problem, just open the template page and change this -

<title>Untitled Page</title>

to this -

<!-- TemplateBeginEditable name="doctitle" --><title>Untitled
Page</title><!-- TemplateEndEditable -->

Then save the template page and allow it to update the child pages.
