Template Preview

Hi,
I would like to find a way to turn off the preview feature in the New Document
/ New from Template dialog box. It takes forever to generate a preview of my
templates and greatly slows down my design process.

Also related to that dialog box, I was wondering why the templates that are
placed in a folder within the Template folder don't show up in that New from
Template dialog box. I have 14 templates and would like to organize them in
folders, however they disappear from the New from Template dialog box as soon
as I put them in folders within the Template folder, which makes it impossible
to use those templates.

Does anyone have any alternative ways to create new documents from templates?

You cannot further subdivide the Templates folder.

It takes forever to generate a preview of my
templates and greatly slows down my design process.

Go to the DW FAQ link in my sig, and get the Template Lovers Suite. This
will allow you to generate a child page from a template page directly.
Alternatively, you can simply create a new page using FILE | New, and then
drag and drop the template file from the ASSETS panel onto the new page.
