template popup links don't work

My pop up links don't work.
I inserted a fireworks pop up menu into a template and the links work perfectly there but when I attach a template to a page the links don't work. My page are in seperate files.

eg

Main folder > templates > two documents

index
pages > four sub folders with pages
firworks pop up menu > includes exported pop up menu
CSS

I'm only 16, so expalin simply please

first question--

does this site have it's own domain name- or is it hosted in a subfolder of
another domain?? in other words-

is it http://mysite.com ??

If so- go thru the Popup menu, and change all the links to Site Root
relative paths. (rebrowse to the links- and change the pulldown in the
"browse to file" dialog box to "Site Root Relative" so that all the links
start with a leading / slash.

is it http://someoneelsessite.com/mysite ?

if so- go thru the popup menu- and change all the links to full http://
urls.

If that isn't it- or isn't clear- a url to pages please.

See the LEADING / slash??

before you do this- probably should rename any and ALL files and folders in
the site manager to get rid of blank spaces....
