This did not happen in the previous versions of Dreamweaver that we have been using for years, as the links would update without pointing to the template directory. |

I am a Web Designer for a College within a university and I have encountered a problem with Dreamweaver 8. I created a set of pages with a top navigation of relative links. There are six links on the top navigation that all have links that are set to look for the linked file within the current directory. Basically in the template the link looks like "admission_req.html", there are no ../../ in front of the address within the template. However, when the pages are updated through the template the links are changed to point to the template directory (for example the "admissons_req.html" changes to "../../../../Templates/admissions_req.html". This did not happen in the previous versions of Dreamweaver that we have been using for years, as the links would update without pointing to the template directory. Is there a way to correct this issue? |
