Default table moving - 11-20-2007 , 02:03 PM

:frown; Hi,
I need some help. I believe the problem started when I converted to the newer
version of dreamweaver. I have a large table which was started in an older
version of dreamweaver. At a certain point in the table everytime I add a row
of cells, the table drop down from the top of the screen and drops farther
everytime I add another row. I have eliminated all valing code . Any
suggestions?

Sounds like you are adding a row to a nested inner table and thus stretching
a cell in an outer table.

Is there any way to change it from a nested table to a regualr table?

We'd have to see the page and its underlying code to begin to answer this
question - we don't even know if this is the problem....

Also, what does "valing" mean? Not trying to be difficult, I really can't
guess.

sorry I meant valign. Someone told me the table had valign codes and that they needed to be changed to align.

I hope they were going on more information than we are. It would be
important to look at code to diagnose this problem, otherwise the suggestion
to remove valign attributes is about as valuable as a suggestion to change
your socks (did you try that?)!
