Table Borders

I'm trying to create a table. Some cells will have a border, some will not.
Also, some cells will have a border on one edge, but not the other 3. Is
this possible in Dreamweaver?

Yes, using CSS it is quite possible. Check the PVII site for a good ebook

yes, using css.

read up on border-style,width and color properties and border-collapse
property.
also how margins and padding apply to tables and tds.
then experiment.
