Tab Text illegible on Windows XP

The applications tabs (ex. Common, Layout, Tables), and the text in drop downs
is ill-legible and looks like a font that has been resized to a font size it
doesnt support. This is making using the application extremely difficult.

I have attempted to disable visual themes, as well as using the compatibility
mode for Win 98. Disabling the visual themes seemed to work a little for the
menu text but not the tab and drop down text.

I have also attempted to change screen resolutions.

Has anyone else seen this? Any fixes or even ideas for fixes?

Im using a Dell Insprion 5150 with the NVIDIA GeForce FX graphics card..

I have the same problem. I am running on a Dell 9100.

Any solutions?
