Suddenly- new error messages!

Dear Forum,

After attending Max, I hope to upgrade to Dreamweaver 8 soon, but in the
meantime, I have suddenly started receiving multiple errors from Dreamweaver MX
2004. I can't even copy 'n paste without an alert window! I suspect DW is not
loading correctly.

Here's a sample error message:

While executing onLoad in table.htm,
the following javascript error(s) occurred:

In file ""table"":
ReverenceError: initializeUI is not defined.
-------------------------------------------------------

This all started happening after I got a very strange message that I had to
re-register my copy of DW. I did re-register, and then started getting many,
many error messages.

Any and all responses will be greatly appreciated.

That is very strange. I was going to suggest that you may have installed an
extension that screwed up something, but it doesn't sound like it. Do this.
Disable your extensions. Go to C:\Documents and
Settings\youruser\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX 2004\ and find
your user configuration folder. Trash it. Then reopen DMX 2004. The
program will put a fresh configuration folder in there for you. See if that
solves the error messages.

That solved it. Thanks so much. I use Dreamweaver all day long. Another day of
"barummp...error message" with almost every edit, and I might have gone
temporarily insane.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. Seeing your credentials, I
am honored- and reminded why I like being a part of the Macromedia community.
