Can you use PHP on this hosting?
Suggestion- (if this is for a properly made FORM that you want the data sent
to an email address)
Get the free kaosmailer extension from http://kaosweaver.com
or use the boaddrink.com phpformmail script.
(note- these will not handle file attachments)

On this domain you keep mentioning- Is that your page?
If so- there are problems with the form on it.

The only <form> tags on it surround JUST the top submit button, and there is
no action for the form tag. The rest of the form elements on the page are
just plunked down and are not within a <form> tag set.

Are you wanting a "hot or not" or "rate my face" type of thing?
With user submitted pics, or only pics you put on??

Hey Alan, Im sorry to keep asking the same questions. I know the submit buttons
dont work I just did it to show an example of what I want. I can use PHP on my
hosting. My hosting company said my package includes php and mysql and that I
wouldnt need to install either of them on my desktop. Alls I would have to do
is insert the php code into my html script. They also showed me how to set up
my database folder on my ftp server (giving it a name, and password). The type
of page I am trying to do I guess you could say it is a "hot or not" page (kind
of). To simplify it the best is...people will view videos and vote which one
they liked best. I want the people to type in the id# of the video like ex.2 or
scroll in a menu list and choose the id# like ex.1
http://www.greatestassever.com If you know of a good program I can buy that
does the coding for you that would be so great, I prefer NOT sending it to my
email but I was looking for an easy way out because for some reason Im finding
php harder then I thought.. I have searched through hotscripts but all their
polls are the same....multiple choice with radio buttons, and thats not what I
need. Im sorry to be a pain in the a*s but Im just hoping for an answer I'll
understand, its so fustrating to not know what your doing, i'm sure you and
everyone else has been there before. :frown; Thank you.
p.s. with the kaosmailer extension can that show a total % when you hit the
submit button?

No- the kaosmailer extension is a Form->Email script, it is not a poll or
voting script.

http://hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_an...ing/index.html

Suggest: you outline what you do and do not want for features, and only try
scripts that have at least 4.5 "hot peppers" or more as a rating, where
there are many in that category. There are many free/open source ones to
pick from.

Can also do a search there- in php scripts i'd search on image vote

You can use a number of scripting languages, but PHP is easy to work
with. As Nadia suggests, I would go to hotscripts.com and download
several PHP poll scripts, open them and look at how easy or hard it is
to change them as you need, upload one and check it out.

adding- also check the licensing conditions of any free scripts. Your site
is going to be commercial, or at least will have to have some revenue stream
from ads or something i'm guessing. If what you are making is similar to
what i'm guessing- it could burn through a lot of transfer esp. if it's
videos instead of images. A LOT of transfer quickly.
