Studio MX and win VISTA

Hi,
have Studio MX installed on my new windows Vista based pc. Now everytime I
click 'Help' or 'Commands' the program Dreamweaver closes. Now why is that? Is
there a patch or whatever I need to download/install, so I can use all
Dreamweavers possibilities?

Studio MX predates Vista by several generations, so is not guaranteed to
work. You can upgrade to Studio CS3, or downgrade to Windows XP...

There are ways to make Studio 8 work on Vista, but even these can be a bit
flaky.

Tried reinstall as admin in XP (SP3)-comp-mode. Looked liked it worked again.
But when I tried to insert a table, a fatal error occured and I have the same
situation all over again.
Looks like I have to upgrade....
