Spry Menu halfway down the page in Internet Explorer

Hi

I'm building a website and using spry menus for the first time. I'm a
Mac user so hadn't tested any of the pages in IE 6 or 7(doh!). When I
did today using a PC all the spry menus are halfway down the page
which is obviously pushing the content down also. I understand that
there are many issues with Spry and IE but I've searched for a fix and
can't find one
