Default Spry 'eye icon' wont appear in 'design' view. - 10-21-2007 , 02:02 AM

Hi,
I'm using Adobe Dreamweaver CS 3 on an Intel based Mac. When I choose a spry
effect [either accordion or tabbed panel etc.,] on some tabs the eye icon wont
appear when hovering cursor in 'Design View'. This prevents me from editing
contents, even if I save and close the program and re-boot the Mac. I've also
tried right clicking the tab in question and choosing 'elemental view' but the
'full' and 'hidden' options are grayed out. The 'reset all elements view'
doesn't appear to do anything either!

Any suggestions"

Cheers,

'Maengel'

Maengel,
Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I'm having the same issue on a
Mac PowerPC. My Intel based Mac is working fine with this. If you found the
solution to this, would you share it with me, please?

:grin;

Hi 'Beckiehawk',

Yes, I was able to overcome the problem. Whether or not this how it should be
done, or indeed if their is an approved Adobe fix, I know not! At least it
works.

Simply highlight any text in the accordion tab panel, choose text alignment
[left, centre, or right], and mysteriously the 'eye' icon makes a reappearance,
and completely functional in design view!!!

Hope this helps,

Cheers,

'Maengel'
