:confused; I've been using Dreamweaver through many versions, and have never come across this problem before. The image is there, right where it seems to be. It shows up in the Local Files folder in Dreamweaver, in the file list in Windows Explorer, will open in the quick-view Window by double clicking on the name in Explorer, shows the correct path when located using Windows Search, but will not show up on the page I'm constructing. Nothing fancy here--I use the Dreamweaver "link to file" and the file name and path shows up in code view. But not in design view, or when previewing in a browser. All the old images show up, just as they always did--these are new images I'm adding, for new pages. At least I thinks it's confined to that. I have rebooted. Many times in fact, since I've been gnawing at this problem for a week now, and checked in every way I know how. I can only think that, since I haven't changed my local site structure in any way, there must be a setting somewhere that has applied itself to the new images, and I just don't know what it is or where to find it. Help would be greatly appreciated, as I may soon be bald from pulling my hair out--and a bald me would not be a pretty site. ..Jan |
