spry accordion - want delay when mouseover

I would like to use the basic spry accordion in DW CS4, but with an onmouseover
delay by a second, to prevent panels from opening and closing while the mouse
moves across the menu. Of the technologies I use to create web sites,
JavaScript is probably my weakest. Can somebody give me some code to insert
into the JS file to slow the opening of panels?
