Default Spry 1.6.1 - 07-02-2008 , 10:07 AM

I just downloaded Spry 1.6.1 from Adobe Labs. Call me stupid, but I have no
idea where to put all the folders in the zip file. I installed the Spry
extension for Dreamweaver CS3. But clearly all the javascript includes in the
Spry download need to go somewhere.

Yes, you can call me stupid. But also please tell me where to place all the
files in order to use Spry 1.6.1.

Thanks.

The Spry extension will install. Once you start up DW click on Site->Spry
Updater. This will update all instances of your Spry on that one particular
site to the latest version. I believe you have to do this for every site where
Spry is used but don't quote me because I have not done the installation in
awhile.

The other folders are simply samples and other examples that you can open up
and edit within DW. I would recommend making copies though if you want to use
them that way you always have originals to work from. There are few extra Spry
features that are not as simple as inserting the menus or something that is
already in DW but it is there to show you the capabilities of Spry.

Well, before bothering to blast me for my ignorance, I'll offer the
'middle-aged, blonde, Irish' defense.

When I click on 'Site' there is no Spry Updater. I'm running DW CS3 9.0 build
3481 on an XP platform, and I dearly do want to install the Photo Album thingie
- my 'client' thinks it's better than sliced bread.

So what has to happen next.

You have to download the Spry Updater first. It installs an Extension for DW.
Because Spry is technically pre-release software it will not update like your
other programs do. To get the update you will need to head over to the Labs:
