Default Spell Check Entire Site - 07-26-2007 , 02:13 PM

Hi,

Just created over 300 pages in Dreamweaver, and now want to spell check. Is
there a way to spell check the entire site? I can't seriously believe that the
only way to do it is to open each page. After all if Find and Replace works on
all files why doesn't Spell Check?

What is everyone else doing? Is there an extension I need to install?

Thanks much

CC

Personally I spellcheck all my content before introducing it to Dreamweaver, which isn't much help for your situation.

I'm not aware of a global spellcheck, but I'm sure someone here can help.

Use Text | Batch Spell Check and then select the entire current
local site if not already selected.

Huh? What am I missing? DWCS3 says you can
do batch spell, entire site.

Try your suggestion. There is no such option.

Do you by chance have the WA extension installed? DW CS3 out of the
box has no such option.

Strange. I click Text |Batch Spell Check and then
select entire current local site and it starts spelling checking
each page.

Yes I HAD the WA spell check installed but it doesn't
work in DWCS3 so it's unchecked in my extension manager.
