space under forms

How do I get a table right below a form to lie flat against the bottom of
the form box. I tried css > box > margin > 1 px and that put the bottom of
the cell (the one with form box) to lie flat against the bottom of the form
box. There's still a quarter inch space between the bottom of the cell with
the form box and the text in the cell just below it when I preview the page
in a browser (in the display view the layout looks just the way I want it to
with all the cells (and the form boxes and text inside them) lying right up
against each other) Why is this happening and how do I fix it?
