Space between the header and body

Hello forum!

I'm using an HTML template in Dreamweaver (yes i am ashamed). It's very good,
but there's a space between the body and the header that i can't get rid of. i
got rid of all the padding, but to no success. Can you tell me what i need to
do to remove it?

Secondly, how do i use shadows in Dreamweaver? (i wasn't to have shadows at
the sides of my page, its in div container (as is default with the HTML
template)).

Thirdly, does anyone know of a good random image script or extension? I'm
using one currently but I'm not very happy with it.

Can you tell me what i need to do to remove it?

Not without seeing the page. Please upload it to your host space and give us
a link. Best if you can also upload the template itself and provide that
link too.
