Something funky's going on! newbie

Please help!! I don't know what I did, but I can't see my tables at all in
design view! WTH?? They load up fine in internet explorer, and they were
perfect in design view just a few minutes ago! I can't adjust anything in
design view because I can't see them... I can only write code... this is really
strange. Has anyone encountered this?? This is my first time using the
program, so I have no idea what's going on.

Try 'View > Visual Aids'

Thanks for your replies! I didn't have any luck with view -> visual aids...
I've tried practically every combination and it's unfortunately not changing
anything

You'd be well advised not to add to your confusion by using a Microsoft Word
HTML document.

The code on that page is just impossibly mangled. Sorry - this is why you
are seeing what you are. DW simply cannot make heads nor tails of that
nested load of broken tables. For example -

<table ... height="75%">
<td valign=top style='padding:0cm 0cm 0cm 0cm'>

You cannot open a <td> tag without a corresponding open <tr> tag. Each cell
must be in a row. This page doesn't play by those rules....

Yes... I accidently opened my html file in Word and before I was even thinking
I had adjusted it and saved it! I knew the split second after I had done it
that it was a BAD idea...

I knew I was going to have a headache over this...
*sigh* I'm just going to have to redo it... the funny thing is, dreamweaver
had no problem reading it before for some reason... then just strangely stopped
showing it on design view... very strange...
