Default Someone Help Please! - 01-25-2004 , 02:47 PM

I posted a message earlier but it seems to be ignored. Probably because I couldn't include a visual example? Anyway here is a url showing what it is I am trying to achieve. How is this done? I want category links with loading thumbnails. Is it done using frames, tables? I'm very new to this so need quite detailed info here.

Thanks for the help.

Martin.

I would suggest a template, with a table for the thumbnails- so when the
page loads, the thumbnails will to.

Hi yea,
I dont think the page is using frames as the entire page seems to reload
when the links are clicked, I would advise you to save the page and open it
in dreamweaver, you will learn loads from doing it like that, I would
recomend maybe doing something different even better then that thought as by
doing like i am about to say means that the page does not need to be
refreshed each time.

Firstly go to this link as they give a great tutorial of how to use a great
extension from http://www.projectseven.com , the tutorial is at
http://japan-interface.co.uk/webdesign/demos/showpicdemo.html you will also
see a fine example there. if you do give it a go and have problems the fourm
at projectseven is better then the best.

Looks like tables. As far as I can tell every page is a complicated table,
with some aspects in common with the tables on other pages.

I can't find frames. I think it is just tables.

VERY badly coded tables.
