Snippets crashing DW MX

When I try to insert snippets, I get the following error message:

Dreamweaver encounter a fatal exception. Dreamweaver will now terminate.

Then DW closes. This sometimes happens when I close the last page I've been working on. The page saves properly, and closes, but then the whole program shuts down.

Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? Am I right to suspect Windows?

That's a possibility. What extensions do you have installed in
Dreamweaver MX? If you have any installed, please try to disable them.

Ah, well, there's a day of troubleshooting for me, I have loads of extensions. I'll go through them and see what happens.
