Default Slide shows - 11-10-2007 , 11:24 AM

My client wants a slide show on the home page like this:

http://www.eclipsme.com/slide.html

I have not been able to find a script to do this. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Harvey

That is a website which appears to be slide.com. If they want that exact one
just use the service. If they want a different one ask if they want it in
Flash like that one is. If so there are some templates around for Flash
slideshows. If there there are plenty of options out there including some from
pvii.com and other sites.

Yes, that is correct, but I can't use that one because it ties into
slide.com advertising, etc. It is, however the style they are stuck on.

Flash template might be ok - it may be time to step up my flash skills,
though they are almost non-existent at this point.

I have looked at a lot scripts, and what is missing for this project is
the ability to fly in an image and let it stay in the frame, but smaller
than the frame, while another image flies in and stays in another part
of the frame, etc. The scripts I have seen basically provide some sort
of transition effect from 1 image to another, with the 2nd image
replacing the first.

Does that make sense? Any ideas for that?

Thanks,
Harvey

Thanks. This looks like a nice slideshow program, but it seems to suffer
from the same limitation I am running into. Images appear through
various transitions, but effectively replace the one before.

Here is what I am trying to get close to:

http://www.eclipsme.com/slide.html

But this is from slide.com, contains some adverts and links that I don't
want.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Harvey

Same thing with me, in response to a query from me about an upgrade, a blunt
"no". I too went with Slideshow Pro. Very short-sighted of them IMO.

I would have recommended them, had they allowed an upgrade price for users

annoying for existing customers, so instead I would suggest you check out
Slideshow Pro.
