Default slide in effect - 07-09-2004 , 04:05 AM

Hi
Just started with Dreamweaver MX 2004 I would like to get an effect on a web
pages where there are four tabstyle buttons below a window and when the mouse
button is placed over a button a picture slides in from the left, then slides
back when another tab is selected. There is a different picture for each button.
I am thinking of using a frame to contain the pictures and one below for the
tab buttons but not sure how to get the sliding effect transition. Is this
possible in DW or would it need to in flash?
Thanks
D

Well I'm guessing this would be better done in Flash since the load time will
be horrid for all the javascripts and coding it will need since flash can
stream it should give you a much better loading time you may want to adress the
Flash forums for more information on how it's done.

This is easily done with LayerAniMagic from PVII -
http://www.projectseven.com/.

Forget Flash!

That's really untrue.

Well, it is. But it's not too complicated for client-side javascript. And
the bulk is quite tolerable.
