The company I work for, and myself personally are abandoning 800x600. Our stats show about 4% of users that are under 1024x768. I'd say we have a pretty good cross section of industries and individuals visiting our homepage too. Perhaps Osgood can point us to these "facts" he's quoting - I'd wager they must be a touch out of date ;-) |

You should still design for 800x600 resolution. Even though its not very popular, its still in use. The majority of people are able bodied, that doesn't mean we should do away with disabled amenities ie toilets, ramp access, wheechair lifts etc. Thats my way of looking at it anyway! :-) |
