Site Search

Does anyone know how to install a site search which can be fully customized?
I want it to index well but also have a custom search button where I make the
graphic myself and possibly a resizable box for entering the keywords?
Any suggestions?

I second that. Atomz is free for smaller sites. I don't remember the
requirements, but it's very generous.

If you want to see a custom implementation of their free service, like the
one that you described, see:

There is also an advanced search page there, as well. You can customize the
output in several ways (responses per page, show/hide summaries, etc.). They
also include limited statistics with the free package. The commercial
product offers complete statistics.
