Have you detached the site panel from the main group and slid it offscreen
by chance?
The error message you describe is a throw away message. It usually means
that DW cannot determine which page should be the home page and that you
have not told it which by selecting a file and specifying it as the home
page.

I am presently taking an intermediate Dreamweaver class. the instructor
and 90% of the class are PC users and can't answer this: I was working on an

exercise and I must have done something wrong. I need to open up the site
window to post to the student web server but when I click on the arrow to
open up the site window, nothing happens. The function was working one
minute and then wouldn't. I keep getting an error message "The selected
folder does not contain the current sites home page. The site map cannot be
built." I'm not sure how to proceed . . .
