Hi yea,
I was looking for a site that either sold graphics or gave them away, the
type of graphics I am looking for are the anonymous blended type that one
would use on the top of a website alone with a company name . If any one
knows of a site that they may use to purchase the png type images for one to
manipulate and use for there own site I would be grateful for the link.

Also I wouldn't recommend that microsoft site for this kind of thing.

I did a google on fireworks +backgrounds and came up with this:

heaps of links - even tutorials on how to make your own seamless
backgrounds.
