Site having Compadability problems in I.E

Ok guys...

Here we go again with Dreamweaver...arrggghhhh

My site is showing just fine in Firefox and Safari, but not internet explorer.
The problem seems to be with my opt-in email capture box. Perfectly inline with
the other browsers is all distorted in I.E.

I'm using Dreamweaver CS3. Any idea what to do to fix the problem and have it
work perfect in all browsers??

Any help would be appreciated guys!

Highly unlikely your problem has anything to do with Dreamweaver and
everything to do with HTML, CSS and the variations in rendering of same
browser-to-browser.

If you have posted here before the next sentence will be familiar.

When you wrote, "Here we go again with Dreamweaver..." that suggested to me
you had been here before.

Sorry to say the code says you haven't done this before. I count 4 font
families you have declared that are not web-safe. Your site has no DOCTYPE
suggesting you are using DW MX or removed the DOCTYPE. Regardless, with no
valid DOCTYPE IE is thrown into quirks mode and there's really no predicting
how it will display browser to browser. A standards check shows 21 errors:

Best you fix those and add a valid DOCTYPE. Then see if things work better.
If not post back with an update.

Just a word of caution: Building websites, at least worthwhile ones, is not
easy and not something one is likely to do by just opening DW and then
winging it. Without an actual understanding of HTML & CSS and how they
interact you are more likely to do something wrong that fright. Read, read
and then read some more and then build your first website. When you hit a
pothole post here, there's lots of excellent help just waiting.
