Default Site files problem - 11-01-2003 , 04:27 PM

Please tell me, where are the SITE CONFIGURATION files in DM MX. I am taking
care for about 50 sites and right now I have lost all configuration data. It
was some Windows error, and now I have to rewrite all the site paths, logins
and passwords... blah.
I was looking for them in DM MX directory but found nothing. Maybe if I
know, where are they, I could backup them and have no such problem in the
future.

They are in the registry. You can do a simple command line command to
back them up. This is for Dreamweaver MX only:

regedit /E "C:\DMX_Sites.reg"
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 6\Sites"

All on one line in a command prompt window will do it.

Here you can get a cool tool:
