Switch: I also like the design and the very clean look. Well done -- looks terrific and very professional. I also find the pages take way too long to load (I am on a fast DSL line). Have you considered changing your navigation system to CSS rollovers? That would get rid of most of your scripts. Also, using your style sheet to specify your fonts will also help. There is excellent CSS information at Macromedia's web site. In addtion, take a look at the CSS rollovers and various CSS tutorials at http://www.projectseven.com There are many sites available to help you with CSS. The big advantage to learning basic CSS is it helps you make much faster and leaner web sites that load more quickly and your sites will be easier to maintain and revise in the future. HTH, Pat |

It's ironic that such a slow page would be on a domain called pcquik! Size of all images: 28.176 kB Size of HTML-source: 14.052 kB Size of whole page: 42.228 kB It's not the weight of the page that's the problem. It must be the server, athough a tracert doesn't reveal any slowness there.... -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Team Macromedia Volunteer for Dreamweaver MX (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== news://forums.macromedia.com/macromedia.dreamweaver - THE BEST WAY TO GET ANSWERS ================== http://www.dreamweavermx-templates.com - Template Triage! http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.DreamweaverFAQ.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.macromedia.com/support/search/ - Macromedia (MM) Technotes ================== "Pat" <bingen100 (AT) hotmail (DOT) com> wrote in message news:bo1j8i$jpd$1 (AT) forums (DOT) macromedia.com... Hi Murray, Thanks for your assistance. I have cleared out my browser cache and checked the site again. It takes about 10 seconds to load! What do you think I should do? Change host?
