Site Cache not working on new profile

I am new to this group, but have been using DW since it was a toddler.

I am using DW8 on a Win XP machine. My work has switched over to new
profiles, I copied my entire Application Data (AD) folder over
thinking that DW would see it as the same in my new AD folder but none
of my "sites" came along for the ride.

Things I have tried:
1) I have tried deleting the .dat file in the Configuration folder but
that did not work.
2) Made a new site to see if the site cache was being stored in the
"new" AD folder correctly ... it is.

I am a little confused by this and any help would be great.
