Default Simple Login Page - 08-11-2004 , 10:12 AM

I am trying to add a simple login page to a part of my website. I have been
folowing the DW help tutorials and the help page at
www.macromedia.com/support/ultradev/building/login_page/login_page05.html

I will build a simple MySQL data base to store correct data to compare with
the completed DW form. I have come up against a problem when attempting to
apply the Log In User server behavior to the form fields. Unlike all the
tutorials I get a "set up the sites testing server" and "choose recordset"
command in the server behaviors panel and the server behavior + button is
greyed out so I can not choose the required User Authentication, Log In User
option

What am I doing wrong?

KInd regards

So, let me see if I understood you - the "+" sing in the Server Behaviour window is greyed and you can't select the options from it?

You have to build this database and create a connection to it first. You
can't use DW's server behaviors requiring database connectivities before you
have the database.

See if you didn't save your page with html extension. If so, change it to php or asp. This should resolve it.
Let me know how it went.
Cheers.
