I'm having an issue w/ Dreamweaver MX, as well as the previous version of dreamweaver concerning the use .sht file extensions. I've added the .sht files to the extensions.txt config file, as well as added it to the mmdocumenttype.xml file, dreamweaver not properly recognizes these files and opens them. The problem is the visual editor seems to "freeze" trying to edit these files. My index.sht file opens w/out the includes, which is fine for my purpose. All my other files (identical to index.sht in the header and include section), open fine, but only show the first include, and nothign else on the rest of the page. It also has a strange icon and </Head> highlighted in yellow above the include. index.sht opens and shows a shield w/ an exclamation point at the top of the document when clicked it highlights the include, and this is fine. The files that don't open have a shield with a page of paper (not clickable of highlightable) followed by the "</head>" highlighted. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Justin |
