Default How do I close framed pages? - 11-05-2007 , 05:42 PM

I've made as series of pages made up of two frames within my unframed website.
My problem is how to put a link on the last of the framed pages to return to
the homepage. If I make a link to ..\index.htm it returns to the homepage, but
the homepage appears squahed within one of the two frames, not as full screen.
How do I achieve this?
(If you want to see what I mean -go to follies.org.uk and click on the Alan's
page link and then the here link. The last page does not return as I'd like it
to.)

I think that most people on this board will tell you to get rid of the frames.
They had their 15 minutes, but have been resigned to the scrap heap for the
most part. Just slightly better than the blink tag....

Many Thanks -that did the trick. I knew I'd get flack for using frames, but
when I opened my free copy of Google's Picasa and it offered to make me a web
page from my photos that did just what I wanted in a few seconds, it made sense
to use it. I know I could have done this manually without frames, but one, I
don't know how, and two, I'd have to resize all my photos twice, once to fit
the thumbnails part and again for the main page. But if someone knows a free
program that will do this for me without using frames, please let me know where
to find it.
