Default Show/Hide Layers for Linux - 08-19-2003 , 05:59 PM

I've made a drop down menue using the show/hide layers function. The problem is that the links within the layer don't work under Linux. I have tried it using Phoenix and Netscape in Linux. I have also tried it in the Win32 versions of Phoenix, Netscape, Opera, and IE - all is well in Win32, everything works. The layer reveals itself as it is supposed to do, its just that the links in that layer don't do anything. The browser recognizes them as links (pointer turns into a hand or whatever) but when you click it does nothing!

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated as I would like to make my site Linux friendly.

Regards,
Dustin Brown

Dustin:

HTML is HTML on Windows, Mac, or Linux. There must be something else
happening. Can you post a URI to the pages?

Dustin:

The frameset you have is not browser viewport friendly (as you try to
control with your "this site is best viewed at a resolution of at least
1024x768 XGA." )
at the bottom of the page. Do you find that people read or obey that? Or
is it something that just helps you feel better about not supporting smaller
screens? By the way, I am on a 1280x1024 screen, and my browser viewport
setting (the way I like it, of course) is too small to see the whole
frameset, so how about me? 8)

Anyhow, it's just HTML and javascript. I see nothing there that would give
an browser on any OS a problem.
