Show field in form mailer ONLY if text is entered

Is there a way to have fields only show if text is entered? I have a request
form with over 300 items available for request and would like formmailer to
show ONLY the fields of the items that are being requested. Are there any
suggestions? Please help! Thanks!:confused;

You would need to add conditions to the script so that it would test if the
field was empty or not and then add the field if appropriate. With that many
fields, you should build a function in the script to handle this. Do you any
experience writing server side scripts?

No, I really don't. Any assistance you could provide would be appreciated.
This form is to help teachers. I really want it to be the best it can be and
having these empty fields excluded from the confirmation and email would be
helpful. The only other suggestion I've seen is to add a "NoEmpty" value to a
hidden mail option field... I tried that and it didn't work.
