You DO understand that the colored scroll bar is Internet Explorer
only, right?

You know, I really don't like coloring scrollbars, but some folks do.
And considering that IE5.5 and higher comprise the overwhelming majority
of web browsers, then I can see where some folks may want to use it.
Everybody's different :-)

Me? I'm more perturbed that Mozilla changes my OS controls on EVERY page
I visit. I didn't ask for that. If I wanted an application that did
that, I'd do something silly and buy Quicken. Even Dreamweaver respects
the default scrollbars in my OS.

True enough. I only mentioned it because the poster said it was "important"
to have colored scroll bars. Otherwise, I'd likely have ignored it. :-)

Mozilla does not use Windows XP scrollbars by default. It never has. It
overrides them without asking. To see your Windows XP scrollbars, you
have to set Mozilla to run in "Classic" mode.

A small point, but we are talking about styled scrollbars and Mozilla's
default scrollbars are pretty ugly.

Oh. Okay. I use Firebird, Mozilla, and NN all in classic mode (I'm not much
of a skins kind of guy) so I never had noticed that. I guess when you start
applying various skins, or themes, you get all sort of non-standard stuff.
Really. Look at Windows Media Player. Even that dumps most of the O/S
standard stuff.

Point taken and understood.
