Default setting up Files: Site & Assets - 08-02-2003 , 07:34 PM

Ok, to start, I am new at this, but I have spent too many hours trying to figure out how to fix this problem.

This is my problem-I am using Dreamweaver MX, I have read the manual AND followed it's directions (however specific they are not), and I cannot get the Site and Assets section in the File panel to appear and do as it is supposed to. I am unsure of what else I can do. I don't know if I have to define the remote site in order for it to set up or not. The manual says nothing about having to do that. I have set up a local site and followed the instructions on defining a site. After step 14 in the manual, it shows the folder I have been trying to get, however on my screen there is no such folder.

Can someone help me? Please.

You have to define the server...!
Go to edit site menu... then fill all requeried info about the remote
server, (domain, url, logins etc etc.)
When this is ready go back to the sites panel at click the connect botton..
when program tell you is conected you can choose in the same panel to view
remote site server or both local and remote.... then to upload or down,,,
just pull files one side to another....use refresh botton to update both
info...!
I hope this can help you..! bye
