Default Creating e shots in Dreamweaver - 06-30-2008 , 10:42 AM

Hi,

My company have been used to creating there own e shots in Dreamweaver, is
this normal (?!) or is there a better/more efficient way to create the html?
We also have a problem with our e shots being too large and i wondered whether
I have to compress the jpeg before loading it into dreamweaver or whether you
can do it in dreamweaver.

Thanks again in advance!

DW is not a graphics processing application. That would need to be done in
Fireworks or Photoshop (or any other such application). Whatever you create
with these applications can then be put on an HTML page using Dreamweaver.

And yes, you'd need to optimize your images before placing them on pages for
the web. That, too, would be done in your graphics application.

Your company has way too many e's laying around. ;o)

I'm still not sure what an eshot is. Is it a web page? An HTML email?
Something else? If it's HTML based, then DW is certainly a fine place to
build it.

But if it's more of an email, then you probably want to look into an actual
email marketing campaign management solution such as
