Default Setting an anonymous email link - 12-19-2007 , 11:41 AM

Do you know how I can change the 2nd "click here" email link on this page to an
anonymous email address that shows up as "service (AT) allstarrods (DOT) com" in the
visitor's mail program instead of the address shown...I want to keep this
address hidden from the visitor. Does Dreamweaver have this capability or would
I have to call my provider to create the anonymous address and have all mail
redirected to the hidden address?

Refer to the sentence "To contact us via e-mail with questions regarding
consumer service and/or warranty information, click here."

There is really no such thing as an anonymous email address. You could set up
an email address to forward to another email address. Or the only other way to
hide an email address would be to store it in a database and then call it out
with a script in whatever language your server supports (ie: PHP, ASP, JSP).

Have whoever sets up your domain email service set up an "alias" such as
service (AT) yourdomain (DOT) com
and have this alias route mail to charlene's USER email account.
