Default Set color scheme command - 01-02-2006 , 12:00 AM

Hi,

I have DW8 and thought there was a set color scheme command. I have started
using DW and can't find this anywhere from the tool bars.

Could someone let me know how to access this feature.

Dave

Apparently the Commands > Set Color Scheme has been removed as a menu
option.

Thanks for explaining why I could'nt find this, seems a real pity they took it out for 8. After reading about this feature I was keen to try it out.

It had probably outlived its usefulness.

Colors schemes are generally set via the CSS Panel, or handcoded directly
into the stylesheet, these days.

Hi John,

what I was most interested in with this command was the suggested color
combinations for a web site. i.e color schemes for body, text, links etc.
Although I have found resources to do this on the net, this feature I thought
it was a neat idea to use within DW.

Thanks Dave

I use Color Impact for this.

Other cite Color Schemer and other utilities.

I never used this in the older versions of DW, but I'd think the color
choices would be rather limited....

I have a colorchart here that may help:

As John suggested, you could look at 3rd party tools that can provide you
with color combos.... something like colorimpact - which I use and think is
great:

This link was posted recently and is a good resource:
