Server Busy message w/Site Definitions

I'm using Dreamweaver 8. Whenever I go to the Site Definitions, I get an error
window.

The window title says Server Busy

"This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose
"Switch To" to activate the busy program and correct the problem.

A choice of "Switch To" or "Retry" is available to me. When I click "Switch
To" my Start Menu pops up. clicking several times back and forth finally gives
me my Site Definition window.

Anyone ever get this? What does the Site Definitions window check to cause
this?
