sending an email to web site user

Hello,

I have a registration form and would like to send an email to people who register. how do i do this ?

Please respond stating what language you want to do this in (ie: CGI/Perl, PHP, ASP, JSP, etc.).

most web hosting accounts include an autoresponder in the email features...
create an email account call it webContacts (AT) yourDomain (DOT) com . in the form
script specify that email address as the recipient. Then set up an
autoresponder in that email account, specify any message you like, it will
be sent to the person who fills out the form.

I use ASP vb script.

I am not certain whether you are emailing this registration to yourself or inserting it into a database.

If it is the latter, I have a Tutorial you can download which walks you through Inserting then Email details from a form, which can allow you to email the user details or just some text as you requirements.

I want to send a confirmation email to the person who has registered. When the user hits the submit button, i would like to send an email using the email address that the user has entered in the registration form.
